Turvo Academy Makes Supply Chain Collaboration Easier Than Ever

  • Turvo Academy makes the industry’s leading collaborative transportation management system (TMS) even easier to start using.
  • With the severe staff shortages being felt throughout the global economy, supply chain software and eLearning have become crucial.
  • Cutting-edge technologies paired with well-trained and proficient team members enable businesses to grow and scale despite the complexities of the current operating environment.
  • TMS empowers businesses by enabling visibility across their supply chain operations, driving greater productivity, accelerating revenues, and elevating the customer experience.

SAN MATEO, CA – May 26, 2022 – Turvo, the provider of the world’s leading collaboration application designed for the supply chain, announces Turvo Academy, its eLearning platform. The improved service offers freight brokers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and shippers a quick, easy, and highly effective way to get started faster with Turvo’s Collaborative Transportation Management System (TMS).

“When COVID-19 brought about the sudden shift from the office to working-from-anywhere, we wanted to find a way to help our new and existing customers adapt to the new working environment without missing a beat,” says Luis Pajares, Chief Customer Officer, Turvo.

“We wanted to create a training platform as easy and intuitive to use as our Turvo Collaboration Cloud, so we designed Turvo Academy in response to these needs,” Pajares added.

Turvo Academy was designed to cover all aspects of the award-winning Turvo Collaboration Cloud platform. The bar was set high as Turvo’s cloud-native technology goes well beyond traditional TMS solutions, control towers, customer portals, real-time visibility software, and marketplaces.

While new users might know what Turvo can do for them, they still might not know where to begin. Turvo Academy helps them start moving freight faster and foster collaboration between stakeholders.

This fresh approach has created new values for users and businesses by improving operations and helping stakeholders make informed decisions from day one of the onboarding process.

“Our award-winning collaboration platform has helped reshape the customer experience for freight brokers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and shippers by simplifying operations for logistics teams and Turvo Academy is the natural and highly-effective extension of that,” said Scott Lang, Turvo Chairman & CEO.

The essential courses for onboarding are organized into three role-based curricula covering operation, admin, and accounting roles. Courses contain a variety of content, including videos, real world scenarios, interactive drag and drop activities, and image hotspots.

Team members can move through training at their own pace and team managers can track the time new team members take to learn the features of Turvo’s Collaboration Cloud platform.

Each course culminates in a quiz that team members must pass, and they receive a Certificate of Completion upon completing a curriculum.

The success of Turvo Academy with existing customers during the pandemic has accentuated the popularity of the platform.

Collaboration Enables Automation

Collaboration is the foundation of the Turvo platform with productivity tools built into every workflow to help freight brokers, third-party logistics providers (3PLs), and shippers find a place to easily plan, execute, settle, and automate all their supply chain operations, on one platform, with a cloud-based social network approach.

On the platform, shippers gain actionable insights into shipments, orders, and inventory, from the first mile to the last mile, to stay ahead of disruptions, control costs, and better serve their customers.
