The audit, performed by an independent third party auditor, validates the processes in accordance with best practices established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Trust Service Principles and Criteria for System and Organization Control.
SOC 2 Type II report provides proof and documentable assurances of Turvo’s ability to implement and maintain critical security policies. Type II tests not only the documented policy and procedures but the implementation of said procedures over a period of time, becoming an industry standard of vetting and validating software-as-a-service (SaaS) providers.
Turvo was audited against three SOC2 Trust Service Principles of availability, security, and confidentiality. Turvo’s Collaborative Cloud System audit report provides transparency and assurance of our program across the following:
Availability: Availability refers to the accessibility of the system, services, or products provided per a contract or service level agreement which sets the minimum acceptable performance level of system availability set by both parties.
Security: Security refers to the level of protection a system has against unauthorized access. Access controls within the system can prevent theft, unauthorized data removal, misuse of the software, improper alteration or disclosure of data, and other forms of system abuse.
Confidentiality: Data is considered confidential if access or disclosure is restricted to specific personnel and can refer to any subset of data that restricted access is both desired and necessary for the preservation of business, such as financial information, intellectual properties, price lists, business plans, and other sensitive information.
