Turvo Launches Analytics for its Collaborative Logistics Platform

Automate Data-Driven Decisions Across the Supply Chain with Turvo Analytics

SUNNYVALE, CA, December 11, 2020 – Turvo, the leading provider of multi-enterprise collaborative logistics software, today announced the release of Turvo Analytics, a business intelligence application now available on its collaboration platform.

With Turvo Analytics, logistics providers and shippers can reduce operating costs by eliminating manual work, data entry redundancies and time spent performing “stare and compare” analysis by allowing for automated data analysis and visibility across the organization. As part of Turvo’s holistic collaborative logistics platform, Turvo Analytics analyzes network data from all point solutions, partners and customers across the entire supply chain.

“We are now able to better collaborate with our customers by providing greater insights on specific lanes and pricing based on historical shipment data,” said Brian Kempisty, Founder of Port X Logistics. “This helps to keep our customers fully up to date on the latest trends in specific markets and takes the guesswork out of planning for the future.”

“Many point solutions offer some sort of data analytics, but the data is constrained by the span of the point solution, “ said Scott Lang, Turvo Chairman and CEO. “What makes Turvo Analytics significantly more powerful, is the data is made available from the Turvo collaboration platform which sees the entire order to cash workflow. On top of that, automation creates productivity gains that lower the cost of managing the supply chain and increase profitability.”

Turvo Analytics surfaces business insights for more accurate reporting and better decision making to reduce the allocation of resources responsible for data entry and reconciliation, and to increase speed to market. Using the data in Turvo, Turvo Analytics allows customers to:

  • Focus business development on high margin customers, lanes and carrier
  • Inform planning for seasonality trends with top customers
  • Gamify performance between account owners
  • Increase driver & broker accountability for tracking shipments
  • Save logistic providers time by reducing the loads tendered to underperforming carriers
  • Get paid faster by choosing customers that pay invoices faster
  • Reduce dwell time at high volume stops

Kempisty went on to say that “Turvo Analytics has been an invaluable addition to the Turvo Platform for both Port X Logistics and our customers. Internally, we are holding drivers accountable by monitoring driver app utilization. This ensures full visibility to our customers who can monitor and track each shipment from pickup to delivery and provides access to documents like PODs as soon as they become available.”
